Description: | This peaceful scene along the Tenryu (Heavenly Dragon) River captures the serenity of rural Japan. Two sailboats guide loaded barges down the river. The print was originally titled Kawara (dry riverbank). This print appears in "A Japanese Legacy - Four Generations of Yoshida Family Artists" page 85 plate 50. The print is in excellent condition - the best copy of this print I have seen. The verso has tape remnants to the top and bottom margins. |
